Welcome to the Long Term Care Nursing and Rehab Institute! The mission of the Long Term Care Nursing and Rehab Institute is to promote Long Term Care (LTC) nursing and develop recognition of LTC nursing as a nursing specialty, in its own right. We stand for excellence in nursing, the restoration of dignity of long term care residents, as well as encourage the humanitarian aspects in the deliverance of care in a spirit of service. | |
Our goal is three fold: 1) To reduce the debilitation of LTC residents, by producing a workforce of nurses with specialized training in long term care. 2) To promulgate education and standardization of care in the field of long term care nursing. 3) To certify those nurses that we believe to be worthy of recognition for excellence in LTC nursing, after the successful completion of the LTC Nursing Exam. We are bi-advocates of long term care residents and the nurses that care for them. Our passion is to change the future of Long Term Care. We are committed to " Shaping the Future for Long Term Living " ! |
